Mismatched tops and bottoms anybody?
Don't say you don't do it (sometimes). You wouldn't be human.
I am sure that even Anna Wintour sometimes runs out of decent lingerie.
(sorry Mrs Wintour, but you are always sooo perfect)
Let's face it, guys even tell jokes about women starting to hang around in mismatched underwear after one year of relationship, so there has to be some truth to this thing of women having problems with their intimate apparel management.
I don't know about you but opening my lingerie drawer often turns into a treasure hunt because the "good pieces"are never there.
I alway run out of the best ones: the pretty but comfortable (and matching) black ones.
So here is today's inspiration: sales are a wonderful occasion to indulge in some visually appealing undergarment investment.
Luxurious and fashionable is even better at discounted prices.
Plus in winter, when it's cold and grey outside, the feeling of pampering yourself this way tastes even better.
P.S: if you have a secret for the perfect intimate apparel drawer organisation please share it. I may be french, but I never seem to be able to find what I need in there.

I unfortunately work a lot, plus I have many obligations, so it can occasionally happen that I don't have time or I am just too tired to work on a decent blog post.

I have a la perla bra that scared me, but I can't say that I wouldn't buy them again they're that beautiful. But they never gave me such lovely box.

DeleteI buy their underwear not only because it is beautiful but also because it manages to fit me properly (which isn't given since we all come in different sizes and shapes). The box was a gift wrapping box, and I never got it before this time, I guess it was a Christmas thing.
Unfortunately, women forget that what is under their clothes should be as beautiful, fit as well, and is just as important.

DeleteOh my undergarments never match I like the mismatch look actually, there may be a color theme going on but they are never a set! La Perla is gorgeous, I hope to catch some pieces on sale some day.
ReplyDeleteOh but this is the thinkfull mismatched theory, done in the (clever) brazilian way :-) Totally different from randomly throwing on the last piece left in a drawer.
